McMonagle Stone prides itself on being the first indigenous stone cladding producer in Ireland. We started manufacturing our own natural stone cladding brand called McMonagle Stoneer in September 2011. Other familiar terms for stone cladding like ours is stone veneer, thin stone or stick on stone. Since inception we work only with indigenous Irish materials to create high quality sandstone cladding, limestone cladding and Donegal Quartzite cladding.
We source both our Sandstone and Donegal Quartzite cladding materials from our own quarries in the south west of Donegal, Ireland. We source our indigenous limestone material from trusted Irish suppliers. Stone Cladding is an innovative industry product and due to demand the popularity of natural stone cladding over full depth stone has grown in recent years.
We supply our McMonagle Stoneer cladding directly to homeowners, trade customers and merchants throughout Ireland and the UK. Fortunately, both architects and designers see the benefits of using our natural stone cladding and have specified our cladding products in their building and landscaping designs. Natural stone cladding is attractive to architects and designers as it is easy to install in areas that have space or thickness restrictions. Once built it can be very difficult to tell the difference between full depth building stone and our stone cladding.
This versatile product is suitable for application on external house facades, internal feature walls, garden walls, fireplaces and other unique designs. Our stone cladding range includes a wide range of colours from golden beige and brown tones to cooler grey and blue tones. Our stone cladding is 100% natural stone and will contain the same natural geological formation characteristics, variation in colour, markings and texture as seen in full depth building stone.
The additional cost of producing natural stone cladding will be reflected in the price. Remember, you may benefit from significant cost savings at the construction stage due to less stone dressing and cutting required onsite, saving your stonemason valuable time. Other cost savings may include labour and lower transportation.
McMonagle Stoneer cladding is DIY friendly, allowing the homeowner to install themselves should they be knowledgeable and comfortable using construction materials. Although easy to install, we recommend enlisting the support of a professional stonemason to ensure you achieve wall cladding that you will be pleased with.
McMonagle Stoneer Cladding consists of a flat 30mm cladding piece and a matching L shaped corner piece. Depending on the quantities required, our stone cladding will be either packed in special stone cladding boxes or stacked on a pallet and wrapped to secure.
Stock availability of our stone cladding range can become restricted due to demand during peak building season. If applicable, longer lead times may be advised by our team. We recommend booking your tradesmen once delivery has been confirmed by our team. This will help ensure your order will be on-site to allow work to commence. Estimate lead times are given as indicative and should not be mistaken for definite delivery dates.
