Paving can be supplied in single sizes or patio packs which contain a mix of paving flag sizes. Single sizes are sold per sq. m and patio packs are sold per pack. Unlike concrete pavers, natural stone slabs are not prone to cracking as they are naturally porous, which means they have the natural ability to soak and hold water. In the event that a natural stone slab should be damaged they are easily replaced. Some man-made manufacturers may for many reasons stop producing certain brands, colours or sizes, leaving it more difficult to source a replacement tile or paver in the future.
Like all material types, some level of maintenance will be required to keep paving slabs clean and fresh. In some instances, your paving may benefit from a natural stone sealer that will help ease the cleaning process.
